Growing up
Today we were about to leave and Chad told the kids to go get dressed.
This is what Owen put on, I was pretty impressed b/c he actually picked out a bottom and top that went together.
And THIS is what Hallie put on. (pardon the blueberry muffin mess)
And we went out, crazy outfits and all.
Scroll down to see what we did on our Anniversary!

Our Anniversary Celebrations!
I don't like this picture of me, but I thought it was a good one of him.
I like this one of me, but not a very good one of him, maybe I should photoshop them together.
For our Anniversary, we took the kids to my Mom's house (thanks Momma!) and went out!! YESS!! I love dates, especially anniversary dates! So, first Chad took me to Sam's (yeah, i know what you're thinking, I was too, believe me...) he said he had a surprise for me, I couldn't think of what it would be! MY cpu has been going REALLY slow b/c I have 3000 pictures on it, I've been needing an external hard drive for it. There was one that I really wanted, and yes, that is what he got me. I know, I know you're probably thinking, "HOW ROMANTIC!" while rolling your eyes, well to me it was, so there.
Then we went to five guys. Don't know if any of you have been there, but they have the best burgers around. Chad took me there because it was our "Five" year anniversary thus the "Five" Guys, he's a clever one, that one. It was DEE-LICIOUS!! and SOOO healthy!!
Then he took me on the GO-CARTS, and yes, I BEAT HIM!!! Oh yeah, uh huh, go Bonny, go Bonny, its your birthd...okay okay, sorry.
Then we played Miniature Golf!!! I got a hole in one...TWICE!!!
This is my pink golf ball in all of its hole in one glory. YESS...
HOLE IN ONE!! GOOO BONNY...GOOO BONNY...Aint nobody dope like me i'm just so fresh so..what, oops, there I go again.
Us in front of the Castle, although, you can't see the castle.
So here is a picture of the Castle, for those of you who were disappointed that you couldn't see it in the previous picture.
Oh and did I mention that I beat Chad in golf? Well, I did. Here is the proof. IF you can't tell by the paper I beat him by 5 strokes..
After Golf we went and got frozen Custard from Ritters and it was soo creamy and yummy. I love custard. I had such a fun night. We have so much fun together! I really couldn't have asked for a better night. I'm so grateful for him, he is such a wonderful husband and father. I love you Chad!!! And thank you!!

The Fair, A Pageant and Temper Tantrums
So my sister-in-law, Catelynn Day, she is 16, decided to compete in a pageant, at the Fair, in Cookeville. I took some pictures of her. She had never competed before and just wanted to for fun. I always thought it would be a fun thing to do, never did it. Who wouldn't love getting all dressed up and walking around in front of a ton of people? Well, the getting dressed up part seemed appealing, and I was never really a competitive person, probably why I never did it. Anyways, back to Catelynn, I think she did a great job! She didn't win, but she had so much fun doing it! It was fun watching Candi fix her hair and makeup, and helping her pick out her jewelry, etc.
While we were waiting for the Pageant to start, Grandavid and I took the kids around the fair!
This is Hallie and Grandavid after getting the tickets, she was so excited to ride the rides!
First ride of the night, the carousal, I didn't want to get on it, they make me dizzy.
A boat ride.
This was their favorite ride, probably b/c it was a lot more exciting then the other rides, it went a lot faster, they screamed the whole time, happy screams.
So at the end of the night, the kids were so tired, and cranky. They did not want to sit through the Pageant. I didn't get to see who won, b/c we left early. Hallie was not very happy about this, when I told her we had to go, she started SCREAMING at the top of her lungs b/c she didn't get to kiss her Mimi goodbye. She rarely has temper tantrums, I've only seen her do it once she only does this when she is EXTREMELY tired. Anyways, we had to rush out of the Arena, and into the crowded Fair, Grandavid was pushing Owen in the stroller, and I was carrying Hallie, she was kicking and screaming, she actually kicked her flip flops off and hit 2 people. She was hitting me and everyone was staring, we were about half way out of the fair when she screamed I DON'T LOVE YOU!! I DON'T LOVE YOU!! Hearing this really hurt me, I was already feeling terribly embarrassed, sticky (Owen had spilt his sprite all over me) and exhausted, and then to hear her say that, was just crushing. I didn't expect to hear that until she was a teenager. I couldn't help it I just started bawling. All the way to the car. When she settled down enough to see that I was crying, she kept saying, STOP Mommy, STOP!! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I'm SORRY!! So anyways, that's my little story. Overall though, it was a fun night.
Have any of your kids pitched a fit in public? And if so, what do you do? How do you handle it?

Too Good to Be True
Or is it "To" Good to be true...I don't know! Someone please tell me and I'll change it...
So July 20 was Owen's first day to go potty in the toilet. I printed off this potty chart the next day and he finished it 2 days ago. I asked him what he wanted if he finished it and he said he wanted to ride on a train. So I'm going to take him to Opry Mills for a mini train ride.
This chart was started 2 days ago!!!! Guess what! He hasn't had an accident ONCE this week, and for most of the week last week he didn't. He only had accidents when we went to visit Mimi. (New toilet, New atmosphere etc.)
I am NOT going to get my hopes up, but I can't help it. He is doing SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better then Hallie ever did. (It took me a YEAR to potty train her...YES A YEAR!!!!)
I'm hoping, hoping, hoping that this keeps going really, really well.

Modest girls are the Hottest girls...
That is what some of the boys T-shirts would say at church camps I went to while growing up. My parents were sticklers on modest clothes while growing up as well. It was and still is sometimes difficult to find modest clothes, but I have found a couple of websites that sell, the CUTEST stuff!!
Shabby Apple
They even sell modest girl's clothes I LOVE these dresses!!
Down East Basics has some really cute dresses, they also had some cute swim suits but they aren't on the website anymore. My mom brought this dress back from Utah, and she looks so cute in it!!
HERE are their cute skirts
There is also a website I go to Called Sensiblystyled She puts together the cutest outfits and tells you when they are on sale, and where to buy them.

:)
Chad made it up to me, he said he was so shocked that he was speechless. LOL. He brought home: not flowers, not candy, but Steak! Yes. You heard me, steak! Don't you think that is so much better then Candy and flowers? I love steak, its my favorite food, and we don't get that very often. I was surprised and of course, It made me feel good that he thought of me.
