:(

I'm feeling a wee bit depressed today.

Could it be because I mowed the lawn for Chad and I didn't get the reaction I was hoping for? Or could it be because I feel fat. Or could it be because the kids drove me CRAZY today and my house is a total MESS!

Hmmm....So I'm going to count my many blessings. Maybe that will help me get out of my little depression and pity party.

1. I'm grateful for my kids, they are the best thing EVER
2. I'm grateful for my husband, even though I'm upset with him right now, he is a pretty darn good hubby
3. I'm grateful for my house
4. Even though its not the job we want right now, I'm glad my Chad has one, that we are able to pay our mortgage, buy groceries, pay for our utilities, etc.
5. I'm grateful for the Lord, and for the gospel of Jesus Christ (that should be at the top of the list)
6. and..hmmm...i'm grateful that even though i've gained quite a few pounds, I'm pretty well proportioned, even if they are large portions, at least i've got cuuuurves in all the right places, lol
7. I'm grateful for my family
8. I'm grateful for good friends, like my goot, goot friend Rebekah, MISSSSSSSSSSSSSS YOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
9. I'm grateful that Owen only had ONE potty accident today!!! He went pee pee in the potty 6 times!!!!!
The End.
I feel MUCH better.
Thank you for letting me Vent up there.

Look at this!!!!

It makes me happy...

Camping at Fall Creek Falls

This past weekend we went camping!! We left on Friday Evening and came home Sunday Evening. It was so fun. I would love to say it was relaxing, but trying to keep a 2 year old and a 4 year old from falling into a fire, running off, throwing rocks at people, getting into stuff etc..was not very relaxing. It was a blast though. My cousins, the Abbotts (my moms sister) came from South Carolina. They come every year and stay for a week. We made smore's, went swimming the the swimmin' hole, (some of us) went cliff jumping, played games, ATE, but mostly we just sat around the fire and talked.

Chad and the Kids in the Hammock, they loved it!

Blythe wanted to join in on the fun!

The 3 little terrors lol, no they were good they had soo much fun together

Does this happen a lot with Ya'll? It does at my house..how do you teach your kids to put their shoes on the right feet?

This is Houston, my sweet little cousin! He was born with Spina bifida, so he is paralyzed from the waist down. He is the sweetest and most positive little kid you will EVER meet. I adore him. He makes everyone smile and he is always just soo happy! He is such a great example to me.

A little late: Happy Birthday Owen & Aunt Candi!!

We first celebrated Owen's birthday on the 4th with Chad's family. Owen's birthday is really on the 5th, but we had to get back to Smyrna for church. It was also Candi's (Chad's sister) birthday that day. So they decorated half the table with Cars and the other half with Princesses. Uncle Ray and Aunt Candi got Owen the soccer goals.

Happy Birthday Candi!!!

Owen blowing out his Candle. He turned 2 this year.

Here he is with his Thomas the Train set that Mimi got for him. He was so excited!

Nana bought him a remote control car, he loves to run this into Hallie.

The next day on his real birthday we gave him a cupcake.

Close your eyes!!!

SURPRISE!!! He loved it!!

Hallie did too!

He did it! He did it! He did it, HOORAY!!!

Owen went pee pee in the potty this morning!!!!!!!!!! I took his diaper off, didn't feel like going to his room to get a diaper so I said, "Owen if u need to use the potty you can go on your potty." A little while later I brought his potty and put it in the living room to remind him while he watched The Cat and the Hat. And he did it!!!!!!!! I made sure that I screamed, jumped for joy, grabbed him and gave him a big hug, called his father, screamed to him and gave Owie some candy. I hope he got the hint. ;)

**UPDATE** He peed on the living room floor two hours later, guess he didn't get the hint after all :( He will get it eventually, i hope. :)

WHAT did YOU say???

Sometimes when we have to go somewhere, or if we are just going outside, Chad will say, "Owen go get your britches." Well yesterday, we were getting ready for our play group, Owen Brought me his shorts and said, "Mom, I've got my britches, I've got my britches, I've got my britches.".....Now just take the 'R' out of britches, and THAT is what was really coming out of his mouth. Couldn't help but laugh...

Happy Independence Day!!!

We spent the 4th in Cookeville, with Chad's family. We went to a big breakfast at a local pool. It was so fun! Then we went and had a big barbque at the Day's house. The food was so yummy and we enjoyed each other's company so much. We also celebrated Candi's and Owen's birthday!! Candi turned 28 and Owen turned two on the 5th. I'll post more about his birthday later.

Thank you so much for all you've done for us over these many years. Thank you for the good examples, for teaching us how to work hard, how to love others and how to live to the best of our abilities! Love you so much Momma and Daddy!!

Ouch!

So, when we were in Tuscaloosa, Vicki, Chad's mom, called and said she had bought a hamster for the kids. Chad was not happy about it, he told his mom that she was going to have to keep it at her house. Well when she brought the kids home, we were all sitting around talking and Vicki said to Catelynn, "Did u leave the Hamster in the car? It's probably dead!" Then she ran out to the car! I didn't know what to say b/c I knew Chad had said that he didn't want it. Vicki walks in holding the hamster in her hands, petting it. She walked by me and that's when I realized it was a toy hamster.. Phew! That was a good one Vicki.

Well this toy hamster has wheels on it and runs on a wheel. One day I heard Hallie screaming, I ran into the living room to find this!!

This was only after i had worked a little of her hair out, before this it was literally stuck to her scalp.

She had put the hamster on top of her head while the wheels were running and her hair got tangled around the wheels. I couldn't help but laugh. I ended up getting the hair untangled without using scissors, the wheels did pull a huge chunk of her hair out though.

Hallie is constantly doing things like this. Reminds me of someone else i know..anyone have an idea of who it could be?
