Randomness..

Chad and I went to Sam's Sushi in downtown Nashville the other day...It is this tiny little restaurant on Church St. next to Printer's Alley. It is so good & so inexpensive. I definitely recommend going there, if you like sushi!

We parked at the YMCA where Chad used to work (he had to pick up a check) On the way out this caught my eye

It's a Maserati..(Every time I read the word, "Maserati" that Paparazzi song, by Lady Ga Ga, pops into my head, but instead of singing "Papa, Papa Razzi," I sing "Masa, Masa Rati") Anyways, I looked it up and yeah..it's a $120,000 car...I knew it had to be expensive when I saw it..

We went to I-hop one day b/c we had these "buy one get one free" coupons..Hallie saw my camera in my purse and said, "Let's take a picture Mommy!" So I did and she licked my face, right when the picture snapped..ew.

This is a Barbie dress that Chad's Grandmother, Nana, made for his mother when she was a little girl. I love it. The color of the dress is more vibrant than what is being shown in the picture..I wish you could see it in person, it is so delicate and just adorable.

Hallie cleaned her room...by herself..I didn't help AT all..I was very proud of her..I told her she shouldn't have done it though, because, now, in the future, I know that she can. Nice. Now I should just teach her how to Vacuum.

Hallie wrote her name on the tag for her Daddy's gift. ALL BY HERSELF! I was a proud Momma. She hasn't gotten the 'E' quite down yet.

I got this dress for $4.99 at Good Will.

I got this dress for $6 at a Consignment shop.

Together, I think they remind me of Cupcakes.

Black Friday

Chad and I got up at 4:45 to get to Target & Wal-Mart for the Black Friday Sales. It was my first time ever doing that..I must say...WOW. I will never do that again. I'm tired..I think I will go back to bed now. Good Night..or should I say morning?

Funny

Hallie calls unicorns "neighcorns" at first I thought she was saying "acorns" but No..she was saying "Neighcorns" I laughed.

Today we went to Zaxby's with Chad's family. We had to sit at two different booths to fit us all, at one point, Chad got up to go talk to the Hallie at the other booth..I put a packet of Zaxby's sauce at the end of Chad's straw and put it into his drink..he walked by, grabbed his drink, took a HUGE gulp, and..you should have seen the look on his face...I laughed...Hard.

Another No.

He didn't get the Job at the Cookeville Fire Department!

Check out my Halloween Post Below!!

Halloween!

Halloween was so fun! We went to my parent's Ward, Trunk-or-treat on Tuesday, our's on Friday & then Trick-or-Treating on Saturday. It was a busy week, but the kids had a blast! It was really chilly Halloween night, we cut the night short because Hallie kept falling, her hands and nose were just too cold...I was fine with that..I'm not a big fan of Trick-or Treating, unless everyone is giving Chocolate, which isn't too common these days guess it's more expensive.

Hallie was Shirley Temple & Owen was Woody, I made Hallie's dress and Owen's vest.

Hallie loved dressing up as Shirley Temple, she loved posing for the camera!

I love how Owie's hat is sitting on the pumpkin

I had 5-6 pictures of her with this facial expression, she kept singing, "Animal Crackers in my Soup!" The camera just happened to always snap the picture when she said "..Soup!" Don't w

I took too many pictures!

My little Woody!

Woody & Buzz!

Woody & "Bullseye" That's what Owen called the stroller, after he got his candy at each house, he would yell, "BULLSEYE!" "BULLSEYE!!" Until Chad would say in a very deep voice, "YES, Woody, YES?!?" (Bullseye is the name of Woody's horse on Toy Story 2)

Trick-Or-Treat!!

Next house Please!!!

Such a Lady! Every time she sat in the stroller, she crossed her legs..so Shirley Temple-esque don't you think?

Look at all that Candy!! (We still have most of it still sitting on the Fridge, except for the chocolate...it's gone...the kids..I mean I ate it all.

Pumpkin Patch!!

I LOVE fall! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I love the changing leaves, apple cider, carving pumpkins, the smell, the beautiful weather etc. I get so excited to go to the pumpkin patch. I got depressed, literally depressed, when it rained the first 2 weeks of October and we couldn't go! When we finally were able to..I was so excited, I think I was more excited then my own Children. Last year was my first time going..so I guess that's why. Leah (my little sister) was able to go with us, I think she had fun too.

Look at all the pretty pumpkins!

She giggled the whole time the goats ate out of her hand

Pretty sunflowers

Owen Loves Tractors!!!! (Actually he loves anything with wheels on it..)

Hallie, Leah & Owen

Hay Ride

We were able to pet the animals, pick out some pumpkins, drink apple cider, eat sugar cookies. We had a blast! Can't wait for next year!

P.S. Some of you asked last time I posted, I didn't end up buying the $28 hat I wanted...I bought this from a friend, it was $6, her grandma sells them..I liked it b/c I can just add what ever bow I want to the hat!

Job Update

We still haven't heard from Houston. Crazy, I know. It has now been 6 weeks. Wow.

Chad had a Written Exam, a Physical Agility test, and an Interview with the Cookeville fire department. We don't know when we will hear from them. I'm not that excited about this job because it doesn't pay much....at all. But he will be working 10 days out of one month so that leaves time for a second job, which means, I will NEVER see him. Yuck. But it is a job.

Vanderbilt is hiring an Aquatics Director. He has applied. I want him to get this job SOOO bad, you do even know how badly I want Chad to get this job. It pays well, we wouldn't have to move, IT'S VANDERBILT. sigh. I really, really, really want this job! Please Pray for us, and thank you so much for all your prayers so far!

Halloween Post Coming SOON!!

American Doll!!

When I was a kid, I LOVED the American Doll books! I read them all, Molly, Felicity, Kirsten, Addy and Samantha (she was my favorite.) Anyways, when I found out there were dolls I wanted one soo bad. I loved getting the magazines. NOw Hallie loves getting them. She's not old enough to enjoy the books yet.

The weekend of the 23rd, Amy Greene, a good friend of the family, Invited us to come down to visit her in Atlanta, for the weekend. We always have so much fun spending time with her and her family. She called me up the day I was to leave, to ask if I would want to take Hallie to the American Girl Store. I said, "Are you kidding me?!?!" I didn't know there was one in Atlanta, I thought the closest one was in Chicago! So that weekend we got to go get Hallie a doll.

I, oops..I mean Hallie, was in Heaven.

Here she is on the way.

Ready to go in.

We wanted a "Just Like You doll" You can pick a doll that has, the same hair, eyes, skin as your little girl, but we ended up finding an American Doll that looked just like Hallie, she's new, her name is Rebecca, she replaced Samantha (yes they got rid of Samantha..I was devastated ;) They have everything for these dolls, beds, houses, shoes, any outfit you can think of..strollers etc.

Then we went and had lunch in the American Doll Bistro! IT was adorable.

They brought out a little chair just for Hallie's doll.

Then they brought Owen a doll that looked just like him so he woudn't feel left out...so cute!! They also brought the little dolls their own little plate with tiny little muffins.

Here we are.

And this is Amy!

Amy bought Hallie the doll because it is her 4th Birthday coming up, so they sang her Happy Birthday, The lady in the picture had a BEAUTIFUL voice!

AFter lunch we took Hallie's new doll to get her ears peirced and to get her hair done in the American Girl Salon.

Amy bought Hallie and Rebecca matching Pajama's..aren't they cute?

She has sponge curlers in her hair b/c she was Shirley Temple for Halloween, so we needed some tight little ringlets in her hair.
We had so much fun at the American Doll Boutique & Bistro, Thank you Amy for taking us!
