Catch up

My Birthday
Chad and I went out for dinner like the Friday after my birthday..gosh it was so long ago, but I believe we went to Olive Garden.

My Momma bought me these shoes:

My parents then took me out to Cheddar's for a Birthday lunch.

We had a combined Birthday Party for Nana, David and I a few weeks later. It was way fun!

Love Letters
A few weeks/months ago ??? I talked about writing Chad love letters. I wrote him one and in return he sent me these:

I was having SUCH a bad day that day. I had just found out that I was pregnant a few days previous, I was so sick and well..Chad wasn't there. I was wondering if I would be able to make it through this pregnancy without him around. Chad had told me he was getting a package for work and needed me to sign for it. The doorbell rang and there was this lady standing there with this basket of daisies, I just started bawling. She looked so concerned and said, "Do you not like them?" Oh..I loved them.

And this is the note I got with them:

Daisies kind of have a special meaning to Chad and I. On our first "date" after his mission we went four wheeling in his parents backyard. We were driving through this huge field of daisies, and I thought to myself.."Ohh it would be so sweet if he picked a daisy for me." As if reading my mind, he stopped, picked a daisy and handed it to me. Awwww...

Mother's Day
The kids and Chad made me breakfast in bed. Cinnamon rolls, bacon & eggs..oh and Chocolate milk, the kind from the carton..a real treat. YUM!

And of course I'm getting my annual blog book for my Mother's Day gift. YAY!

Baby Shower
Me and my friend, Beth, threw a baby shower for our friends Heather & Katie. They are both having girls. I was in charge of the decorations. It was SOO fun!!

Chad's Interview
Chad got an interview with the University of KY 2 weekends ago. They paid for his hotel room Monday night. We went down early and got a hotel room for Sunday night. SO FUN! On Monday, while Chad was in his interview, I stayed in bed until 12pm, watching tv and relaxing. Then I went shopping. I went into Gap..they had maternity clothes on sale for $2.97!!!!! The lady came by as I was browsing and told me that all sale items that ended in a 7 (i.e. $22.97, $49.97) were really $2.97. I looked at her and said, "Excuse me? Did you say $10.97 or $2.97." She said.."$2.97"..I looked at her again..and said, "Could you say that again?" She said "$2.97" OHHH...I got like 10 Items for $30! I got my first pair of Skinny jeans..why not for $2.97.

Later Chad and I went to this COUNTRY restaurant,Ramsey's...all the locals told us we HAD to try it..Chad tried his first Hot & Brown which consists of these layers...Toast, Turkey & Ham..Covered in Gravy, Tomatoes, Bacon and TONS of Cheese..I wasn't impressed..I got me some Fried Pork chops and tried some Fried Green Tomaters for the first time..YUM.

On the way home the next day..our GPS told us to go the wrong way..a whole hour out of the way...It was so frustrating.

We had to resort to using a map..It was much more reliable.

Our Wreck

After the Interview we went to pick up the kids in Cookeville. As we were leaving to go home we were driving down the Day's LONG and Twisty driveway, Catelynn was driving up the LONG and Twisty driveway..we both turned on a blind curve..and BOOM we hit each other. Our airbags deployed and everything. I hurt my arm..it was bruised, bloody and stuff, we went the hospital just to make sure the baby was okay. Everything was fine. It worked out though, because we got way more money from the insurance company for our car (it was totaled) then we ever would have if we sold it. And I got this:

Yup..I'm officially a minivan MOM!! Proud of it.

Oh and shopping for cars without your husband..is dreadful..absolutely dreadful..I will never do that again. But that's a story for another time.

Cate's Graduation

Congrats CATE!!!! Love you!

All the brothers & sisters!!

Oh, I almost forgot about this one:
This was a few days after Easter. Chad and I went into Owen's room and found these hard boiled eggs sitting on his dresser. Chad asked what they were doing in his room and Owen said all matter of fact like, "Oh, that's my egg cowwection."

And here is Hallie or should I say Sleeping Beauty waiting for her prince to come and wake her with a kiss...

I know.

I'm so behind.

I haven't blogged in ages.

My free time consists of napping.

...and sometimes...I clean...sometimes.

Job Update & ...

Chad might be getting a job in Cookeville as a loan officer at a bank.

Chad called the realtor today to tell her we wanted to sell the house. He did it because I couldn't.

Chad's old boss at the YMCA emailed him and told him to apply for a position at the Brentwood Y. Does that mean we should still sale the house? Sigh.

I haven't been feeling as sick as I was on my last post..the past few days have been pretty good. Considering. I get sick at around 3 until bedtime..it's better than all day like it was..so I'm grateful.

I cleaned my fridge out today. I have been putting it off for weeks...no...months. ;) There was a stink coming from it that really made me not want to clean it. I found the problem..it was a little tiny ziploc bag of chopped onion, stuck waaayy back in the back, where no one ever dares to go. Isn't that gross? That something that small could smell that bad. Maybe it was my super-hero sense of smell that I have aquired since being pregnant, no one else could smell it, but I could.
