Awwww....

So the other day when Chad got home from work, we were in the kitchen, getting the kids a snack and he said to me, "I thought about you at work today." I said, "Really? What did you think about?" he said, "Well, I was just thinking that if I met you today and we had never met each other, I wondered if I would find you just as beautiful and interesting as the day we got married." He paused for a second, I looked up at him, and he said, "And I thought, Yes, I would." Isn't that the sweetest thing a man could say to his wife? It made me feel soo good! Thank you Chad!!

A couple of weeks ago, Hallie was sitting in my lap, she grabbed my face and looked into my eyes, all of a sudden she got this surprised look on her face and she said, "Mommy! I can see Hallie in your eyes!" haha..at first it threw me off guard, and I thought what a funny thing to say and then I realized she saw her reflection in my eyes. So cute.

Doctor

So I went to the doctor yesterday, he helped to clear lots of things up for me. To make a long story short he said it is a 98% chance (given my age and my health it is nothing serious, thank goodness) it is 1 of 2 things

First: Esophageal spasm.
What is esophageal spasm?
Esophageal spasms are irregular, uncoordinated, and sometimes powerful contractions of the esophagus, the tube that carries food from the mouth to the stomach. Normally, contractions of the esophagus are coordinated, moving the food through the esophagus and into the stomach. Esophageal spasms can prevent food from reaching the stomach, leaving it stuck in the esophagus.

Esophageal spasms are uncommon. Often, symptoms that may suggest an esophageal spasm are the result of another condition such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or achalasia, a problem with the nervous system in which the muscles of the esophagus and the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) don't work properly. Anxiety or panic attacks can also cause similar symptoms (if you want to read more here is the website http://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/tc/esophageal-spasm-topic-overview)

Second: Panic Attack.

What are panic attacks and panic disorder?
A panic attack is a sudden, intense fear or anxiety that may make you short of breath or dizzy or make your heart pound. You may feel out of control. Some people believe they are having a heart attack or are about to die. An attack may last from 5 to 20 minutes. You have the most anxiety about 10 minutes after the attack starts. If these attacks happen often, they are called a panic disorder.

Panic attacks can be scary and so bad that they get in the way of your daily activities. Treatment can help most people have fewer symptoms or even stop the attacks. More women than men get panic attacks.(http://www.webmd.com/anxiety-panic/tc/panic-attacks-and-panic-disorder-topic-overview)

I'm not sure which one it is, it could have been either one. I've had one panic attack before it was a year ago, but it was nothing near as horrible as this incident. I do get heartburn about once or twice a week. The day that it had happened, i had eaten chips and salsa. I was also watching Abby. Not that, she would have caused a panic attack, she is a good little girl. But my house tends to get a lot messier when the kids have their friends over, on this particular day, I felt like everything was out of control. I don't think I seem like a person who gets panic attacks though, I'm a pretty laid back person, I don't get stressed a lot, I'm not nervous and I don't worry a lot. Who knows, I guess if this happens again (hopefully not) I will know which one it is. Which one do ya'll think it was?

Scary!!

So yesterday started out like any other day. I went and worked out at the Y. My mom and I went to Target to get stuff for her Valentines party for the kids. We went home, the kids took naps, I cleaned. At around 1:55. We left for the Party at my Moms house. I called Brittany to ask her how to put a video on a blog, we were laughing, and joking around. As I got on the interstate, I felt like I had heart burn, I thought, "Dang, I should have taken a Tum, Oh well." But as I was talking and driving, the pressure got worse and worse. I had to get off the phone with Britt b/c it was all I could think about. As I was getting of the exit, it turned into more of a sharp pain along with more pressure, I started crying, Hallie said, what's wrong Mommy?" and I said, "My heart hurts baby, she said, "Is your heart broken Mommy?" At this point we were turning onto my parents street. By the time we got to the drive way this was about 2:10, I could barely breathe, my chest felt like someone was squeezing it as hard as they could and it I felt a stabbing pain. I called the house, my dad answered and I told him to come outside. He came outside, by then both my arms had fallen asleep, the pain had gotten worse. I was terrified, I just wanted the pain to stop, I honestly thought I was having a heart attack. I asked my dad to give me a blessing, he did. My Mom helped me to the car, then my dad made me take some aspirin and took then he took me to the hospital. We got there around 2:30. The pressure and pain had started to go away. I was soaking wet from sweat and not very coherent. They took me back several of the nurses thought that it was my gall bladder. They did an EKG, it was normal (Thank goodness). (they did this because I had another attack while I was waiting). They did an X-Ray, it was normal. They took a Urine Sample, it was Normal. 4 hours later, They sent me home, with NO answers!! I have to get a stress test done this week. I am just so frustrated! This was unbearable pain, and I'm terrified of it happening again. I just don't understand how something so horrible and painful can happen for no reason at all. I'm going to the doctor today, Maybe he can figure out what happened to me. Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

Valentines Day!!

So, Valentines day was GREAT!! Vicki, my mother in law took the kids for the weekend! (THANK YOU!!!! VICKI!! LOVE YOU!!!) It was wonderful, to sleep in on Saturday morning awwww... Chad went out and got donuts from Donut Palace (a great donut shop on Lowry, in smyrna, if you haven't been there, GO!) I had to write a talk for church, so while he was gone, I worked on that some. Then after donuts, I worked on the talk for about 2 hours or so..we got ready for lunch and went out to O'Charley's, it was so fun just being able to go out by ourselves and talk spend time with one another. After that we went home. We exchanged gifts. He got me this HUGE card with a sweet note in it, he gave me the movie Wimbledon, which was sweet because I had mentioned like months before that I wanted to see it again, HE REMEMBERED!! Then, I don't know if you have seen the movie Fireproof, Its about this married couple who is having problems, they decide to get a divorce. The husband's father gives his son a journal, in this journal is 40 days of doing something nice for his wife, His dad dares him to do it, to see if it will save his marriage. (The acting is pretty bad, but the message is really good), Anyways, not that we are having troubles in our marriage or anything, but Chad got me the Journal and is going to do the 40 day thing. He told me he wanted us to become closer together. Isn't that sweet? I gave him a card and an X-Box live card. And a few other things ;) After that I worked on my talk some more, then we went to Target picked out some candy and went to a Movie, we saw He's Just Not That Into You. I wasn't impressed, Chad hated it, but it was fun going to the movies (we NEVER go!!) Too bad it wasn't a good movie. Oh well. After that we went home, I worked on my talk some more, during which Chad Cleaned the Kitchen (yes, without me having to ask!!) He cooked a delicious dinner, Pork chops, sauteed mushrooms, fresh green beans, and this yummy sauce and he made pina coladas. He set up a nice romantic dinner for us, it was adorable. After that we watched Supernatural. It was a WONDERFUL day, except for the whole having to write a talk part (STRESSFUL!!) Thank you Chad for everything you did for me I love you so much and I'm so grateful to you for being such a great Husband!!

This is for Vicki! This is a picture of the kids opening her Valentines Package! They Loved it Thank you MIMI!!!!
