Yesterday, we decided to clean the yard, at the time we were in the play room and I saw that Chad had thrown away all my VHS's! Oh No He Di'int.
I wouldn't care if they weren't the only copies I own of all my favorite disney movies, plus I feel like they are antiques and could cost a fortune someday.
Sooo..I told him he couldn't do that and he said that yes he could..and I said no he couldn't and I said...well you get the point.
"Okay Chad, (with my serious, warning voice) just you wait, in the next couple of week, you will find some things missing and we'll see how you like that."
So I went outside to pick up the yard and saw his kayaks that have been sitting in the carport for forever and decided I would move them to the shed myself. So I pick up a Kayak (not realizing at the time there was a little rope at the end of it to drag it) thinkin' I'm all big and bad and buff and I carry it to the shed and realize I need to mow a path to the back part of our shed.
So I go over to the push mower and try to start it. Blast. I can never get these things started. But there is no stinkin' way I'm asking Chad for help. So I pull on it a few times and check the gas, yup it needs gas, so I fill her up and try two more times, and it starts! YES!! So I clear the pathway. I take the other two Kayaks to the shed and here comes Chad, who decides he doesn't want the kayaks in the shed and takes one and puts it back under the carport. Oh No He di'int.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I yell, um, I mean, ask nicely.
"I'm taking these to work today."
Ya right I think to myself, he's been saying that for weeks...as he walks to the shed to get the other one. Besides it's saturday. He doesn't work on Saturday.
So what do I do..I decide to do something only a crazy, white trash, pyscho, red neck wife would do, I pick up his kayak and throw it over the fence.
Chad stares at me.
I stare at him.
He walks over to me, picks me up and carries me to the other side of the yard, all the while I'm screaming, laughing, hitting, kicking and my kids are crying, kinda laughing, giving a "should I be mad at daddy" kinda stare..
...and he throws me into the pool...
Then I push him into the pool (I say that like it was the simplest thing in the world, it took me a while)..and of course the kids want to join in, so we all take a dip..
In our P.J.s
Needless to say, we didn't get the yard picked up. But it did end up being one of my favorite saturday mornings. Ever.
